Heliconius charithonia, the zebra longwing or zebra heliconian, is a species of butterfly belonging to the subfamily Heliconiinae of the family Nymphalidae. This vibrantly coloured illustration is taken from Moths and butterflies of the United States (1900) by Sherman F. Denton.
